Chervil
Chervil is an annual plant that can grow up to 40 cm in height and has a hollow stem. Chervil has a sweet anise smell and a mild, anise-like flavor. It has many applications, such as in sauces, soups, but also to decorate stews.
Flavor
Chervil is a sweet and aromatic herb with a light anise flavor that is reminiscent of fennel. Chervil is used in soups, salads, sauces and in omelets. Stems are usually removed.
Storage
Chervil can be frozen and will maintain its flavor.
